Welcome to Year 3!
The staff in Year 3 will be Mrs Webster as class teacher Monday - Thursday, and our full-time class TA is Mrs Holt.
Mrs Bragg will be teaching the class on a Friday.
Mrs Sergent will cover the class on Monday morning for my PPA time.
We use continuous provision in Year 3. This means that children have the opportunity to apply the skills they have learned in lessons in fun, independent activities that are carefully planned to support the skills. Children upload their work to Seesaw, where it can be monitored and assessed my me.
Weekly Reminders
- Spelling overviews will be sent home each half term and also uploaded weekly on Class Dojo. Please ensure you practice these spellings at home.
- Children are expected to read regularly at home. Children will have a coloured book band based to bring home but are also welcome to bring home books to read for enjoyment.
- Children can change their books as soon as they have finished.
- PE is on a Wednesday afternoon. The children will need to come to school on Wednesday in their PE kits.
- The Year 3 children will continue to leave school in the main playground as they have done in previous years.
If you would like to speak to me about anything, please feel free to speak to me after school where we can arrange a suitable time to meet. All urgent messages please send through to the school office.
